Junior Runway Australia
Junior Runway Australia provides a platform for young models and performers to showcase talent, build confidence, develop skills and take part in a professional runway show. Junior Runway Australia also creates a unique opportunity for brands to connect directly with talented young models, offering a dynamic platform where emerging talent and fashion come together on the runway. Our events are designed to create confidence and empower the next generation.
Junior Runway Australia
Junior Runway Australia takes place twice a year in Melbourne and will return with two exciting runway experiences on Sunday 17 May. These are perfect for young people who like to perform and enjoy being in the spotlight. Models are required to pay a fee to take part in one of our unique runway experiences. This fee covers runway training, model development, event photography and videography, and participation in a professional runway show. Applications will open in March. Join our mailing list to be kept in the loop about when and how to apply.
Two Different Runway Experiences
Junior Runway Australia's day show is a shorter, more relaxed show. This runway experience is perfect for kids and teens, aged 7 - 17 years, with less runway, modelling or dance experience. In this fun, exciting show, models have their name projected on the runway screen when they walk. This show always has a different theme and kids and teens express themselves by wearing their own self-styled outfits on the runway.
Junior Runway Australia's night show is longer and more demanding. This runway experience is suited to kids and teens, aged 12- 17 years, with significant runway, modelling or elite dance experience. Normally, models in this show are dressed by JRA in different brands, however models in our show on Sunday 17 May 2026 will wear their own self-styled outfits. Brands will return to the JRA runway again in Oct 2026.
